Last year in September we drove all the way to Greece to document Francisc and Liza's wedding day. This was one of the most interesting adventures ever. Right now we are working to develop awesome photos but until all is finished and done properly, here is a short preview of what we've been part of.
IRELAND
This is a random order documentation of how I started this year. I was, and still am expecting a great year, but God doesn't seize to amaze me beyond my expectations. Northern countries have a special place in our hearts and both, Ancu and me, feel at home when rain or fog or a cold sunny day appears. We even love shooting couples in the kind of light foggy and cold weather give. But this gets more intense when we get to spend some time where this type of weather is at home and what I find so interesting is that the warmth that every human being is longing for, can be found everywhere despite the chillines outside, windy weather or financial status. What matters are the people that are willing to be humble and see others above themselves. I saw this in many people I met throughout this trip and it made me realize how selfish and self oriented my life and work sometimes is, concentrating on how to show off and impress people through what I can do and create. However, God in His relentles grace and love, is constantly reminding me about what this life is all about. Love. Jesus. Others. So, many things have changed, at least in my mind. I went to Ireland with one purpose, and that was to be encouraged and get inspired in what we are doing everyday but in the end, when I found myself looking down that small airplane window, I got it. Great work can mean nothing if our lives are meaningles. So, today I am determined more than ever to live a life that is full of purpose, and have a pursuit in creating photography with meaning. ("fotografie cu tâlc" - romanian version).
